Mardi Gras at Little Bit
Join Master of Ceremonies Jeff Renner of KING-5 TV for an evening of fun and festivity at the twelfth annual Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center's Benefit Dinner Auction, Saturday, April 5, at Echo Falls Country Club in Snohomish.
The spirit of Mardi Gras will come alive as masked revelers vie for the fabulous treasures in the silent and live auctions. The silent auction begins at 5:30 p.m. Complimentary champagne and hors d'ouevres will be offered. A dinner of Cajun cuisine and a spirited live auction will follow.
This year's treasure trove includes autographed sports memorabilia from sports legends. Items from Tiger Woods, Ken Griffey, Jr., Edgar Martinez, and Jay Buhner will all be available. Also on the list of treasures will be adrenaline-filled evening ride-alongs with local SWAT teams, a Marine, or K-9 patrol. An exclusive gourmet dinner for 12 at the local home of internationally-renowned winemaker Paul Thomas is also among the evening's treasures. A Puerto Vallarta, Mexico get-a-way vacation, a Husky Football 50-yard line adventure, and more surprises will be auctioned off.
All proceeds from the dinner and auction benefit Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides unique horseback riding therapy to children and adults with disabilities. Ticket prices are $75. Reservations are accepted through March 28. Call (206) 883-1716 for more information and/or invitations.
