Flower arranging at library

flower arranging All persons interested in gardening and flower arranging are invited to attend a program of Japaneses flower arrangement at the Woodinville Library on April 3rd at 11 a.m. Master Ikebanist Mitsuko Hakomori, of the Sogetsu Ikebana school, will demonstrate.
Sogetsu is one of the most unorthodox of Ikebana schools, believing the beauty of line is the richest element of Ikebana, the other being color. It classifies Ikebana into two styles: the objective which brings out the individuality of the flowers and the subjective which describes the person's feelings.
Woodinville Library is located at 17105 Avondale Rd. NE, Woodinville. This program is sponsored by the Hilltoppers Garden Club. All interested persons are welcome; there is no charge to attend. For directions or more information, please contact Nancy Stafford, 788-5841.
