   Social Security Taxation, Shoreline Senior Center, Apr. 1, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m.: 360-365-1536.

   Enjoy ballroom dancing every Wed. from 1-3 p.m. Cost $2.

   Attend fox trot, waltz, swing, and cha-cha lessons for the beginner and more experienced dancer on Wed. from 3-4 p.m. Cost $23, non-members.

   A program for individuals experiencing mild memory loss held on Fri. from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. $20 per day.

   Woodinville Adult Day Center provides care for disabled adults. Van service is available. Call 788-5223.

   Volunteers are needed to make weekly visits to homebound and isolated seniors. Call 486-4564 or 727-6214.

   The 3rd Annual Central Washington University Big Band Concert is on April 16 at 7 p.m. Cost is $7 adults, $5 seniors/children under 12.

   Join an informal group for reading and writing poetry on Fri. from 1:30-3 p.m.

   Learn Tai Chi on Mondays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Cost is $12.50 for members and $17.50 for non-members.

   Seniors needing help with substance abuse are the focus of a program named Senior Alcohol Assistance Services. Call Barbara Berry at 487-2441 of Shari Hightower at 258-2662.

   Enjoy an afternoon of ballroom dancing to live music every Wed. from 1 to 3 p.m. Cost is $2.

   Early Stage Memory Loss Group, first and third Tues., 8:30-10:30 a.m. Information and resources provided.

   Acrylic Painting, Saturdays, 9:30 a.m.-12 noon. Attend an acrylic painting class and learn the principles of design and elements of art. Cost, $30 members/$35 non-members. Beginners welcome.

   Senior Checkup, Thursdays, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Physical exam by a geriatric nurse-practitioner, including simple blood and stool tests, pap smear or prostate exams, followed with appropriate referrals. Call 486-4564 for appointment.

   Alcoholics Anonymous, Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. AA meeting for those who think they may have a problem with drinking.
   Senior Alcohol Assistance Services: Assessment, intensive outpatient treatment, deferred prosecutions, individual and family counseling, education about substance abuse, ongoing group support. Call Barbara Berry, 487-2441.
