Benefit for Woodinville woman undergoing cancer treatment

The Woodinville Fire Explorers are sponsoring an all-you-can eat spaghetti dinner and auction that will benefit Linda Evans who is undergoing brain cancer treatment. The Explorers hope to raise $10,000 for her hospital expenses. The event will be held at the Leota Jr. High cafeteria, April 12 from 2-8 p.m.
   Linda, 54, is a 23-year resident of Woodinville and has two sons and a daughter in the area. She had been in treatment since November, 1996 with Dr. Burzynski of Houston, Texas.
   Over 200 items have been donated to the auction including dinner train tickets, ski packages, tools, autographed Sonics memorabilia, and more. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children. For more information, call Meredith Reno at 788-1483.
