   Elizabeth Brenton, daughter of Penelope B. Brenton of Woodinville, has been named to the semester staff of the Whitman College Pioneer. Brenton, a freshman, is a 1996 graduate of Woodinville High School.

   Corinne Eve Brier of Woodinville was named to the Founders' Day Honors List at Indiana University and was honored at the traditional Founders' Day ceremony.

   Woodinville resident Julian Marsh received the Taylor/Anastasio Scholarship at Western Washington University. He is a senior majoring in biology and anthropology.

   Kathryn Ann DeOliveira of Woodinville was one of 51 outstanding student leaders from Seattle Pacific Universty who will appear in "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges."

   Matthew Arndt and Carl von Fuchs, both from Woodinville, were named to the Dean's List for fall quarter 1996 at Lewis and Clark College.

   Overlake School's Rick Marr, son of James and Linda Marr of Woodinville, was selected as a National Merit Scholarship finalist.

   Washington State University fall semester graduates included: from Bothell, Rebecca Burgess, Sarah Fisher, Bridget Hall, and Justin Manley; from Carnation, Lisa Bailes, Yee Chasengnou, Scott Summers, and Heather Young; from Mill Creek, Tyler Hooper and Nikki Pugliese; from Woodinville, Ellen Bek, Megan Dickens, Sean Fierst, Elke Kobs, Craig Loften, Sara McGregor, Scott Miyamoto, Mark Ronchetti, Craig Samson, Tiffany Skene, Tyson Stover, and Casey Swingley.

   Mary Swain, a senior at Woodinville High School, won the second place prize of $500 in the Washington Association for Biomedical Research essay contest.

   Timothy Prokop, son of Chet Prokop of Woodinville, has been named to the Dean's Honor Roll for the fall term at University of the Pacific.
