Student letters lead to Microsoft Museum trip

Microsoft Museum Students from Linda Forbes' second-grade Fernwood Elementary class visited the Microsoft Museum last week. The class was invited after writing letters to Microsoft president Bill Gates, asking him to come to their school for lunch.

Hollywood students release coho into Little Bear Creek

coho salmon Last week, students from Hollywood Hill Elementary planted the last of 500 coho salmon fingerlings in Little Bear Creek. The release marked the end of Sammamish Splash, a salmon habitat and personal impact awareness program.
