The University Players, a six-member drama troupe comprised of students from Seattle Pacific University, will perform on Sunday, May 4 at 9:30 a.m. at Bear Creek United Methodist Church. The performance is free and open to the public.
The University Players have won a well-deserved reputation for dramatic excellence and teological richness. The students develop their own scripts based on improvisation techniques which engage the audience in exploring conflict and difficult issues. The Players perform in churches and high schools throughout the Western United States. Seattle Pacific University, founded in 1891, is a fully accredited Christian university of liberal arts and professional studies, located in Seattle, Washington.
Cedar Park Christian School secondary drama department will present the musical Living on the Edge, a timeless story about choices and learning to take a stand, on May 1 at 7 p.m.; May 2 at 6 and 8:15 p.m.; and May 3 at 2 p.m. Student tickets are $3 and adults are $4. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bothell Stake, will present the musical Navuoo, on April 25, 26, and May 2 at 8 p.m., and May 3 at 2 p.m. at the Bothell Stake Center. Admission is free. Call 487-3441 for tickets.
