More charges brought against Bothell cosmetic surgeon
by Andrew Walgamott, staff reporter
Two counts of indecent liberties and one count of possession of child pornography were filed last week against Gregory Johnson, a Bothell cosmetic surgeon. Johnson is also facing rape and assault charges for the alleged rape of a Woodinville woman at his Kirkland medical office last March, for which he's already pled not guilty.
The child porn charge was added after police searched Johnson's home computer and allegedly found files with images depicting minors engaged in sexual contact with other minors and with adults.
"A computer disk was found. Some images were considered to be child pornography," said King County Prosecuting Attorney's office spokesperson Dan Donohoe.
Prosecutors have also focused on reports from other women who had contact with Johnson at his Carillon Point cosmetic surgery office. More than 30 have come forward with various reports of misconduct by Johnson.
"Our attention was directed to two other women who had complaints about sexual contact. They felt that the alleged actions of Dr. Johnson were sexual in nature," said Donohoe.
Johnson is being held on $750,000 bail.
