Arrests follow drug investigation
Three local men were arrested on April 14 after a two-month police investigation for allegedly selling marijuana and steroids.
According to Sgt. Rich Krogh of the Woodinville Police, plainclothes officers were able to develop a confidential informant and make buys which led to the police obtaining search warrants for a Bothell apartment off Woodinville Drive and a Woodinville residence on NE 195th.
"As a result, we obtained a quantity of steroids, marijuana, and numerous used needles," said Krogh. He added a 20- and a 21-year-old male were arrested and held in King County Jail. A 22-year-old Lynnwood man was also arrested for sales of a controlled substance, according to Krogh. He said all three suspects had been released and that the case had gone to the prosecutor's office for consideration of charges including possession and sales of controlled substances. Two cars had been seized, as well.
Krogh said no more arrests were pending in this case, but that the police were looking at other areas of the city for drug activity. "We're not done yet and this is just a start," said Krogh. Charges are expected to be filed this week.
