Up until last week, the Woodinville Falcons looked a lot like the 1988 pennant-winning L.A. Dodgers: strong pitching staff getting spotty support from hitting and defense. But after last week's victory over Issaquah, 16-1, that could be changing.
Leading Kingco pitcher Justin Crivello stayed on the mound while Issaquah ran through 6 pitchers, none of whom could stop Marques Tuiasosopo. He delivered 11 runs, including a home run, and B.J. Detmer delivered 4.
The Falcons beat first-place Lake Washington last Friday, 3-1. If they keep winning and Lake Washington keeps losing, they could make the playoffs.
