Ann McMenamin, Janine Nicol, and other members of the Woodinville Garden Club broke out their gloves and trowels after the long winter and revitalized 22 planter boxes along NE 175th Street last Thursday. The planter boxes, lining both sides of the street, are a little brighter now with marigolds, geraniums, lotus vines, begonias, and petunias. The plants were donated by Molbak's and some were grown at the Garden Club's greenhouse. The Garden Club, a non-profit organization, is holding their annual spring plant sale May 10 at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery. Annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, and garden crafts will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sale proceeds will go to the Wilmot Gateway Park.
