Northshore Sports Update

Three Northshore track athletes placed at the Shoreline Invitational track meet last Saturday. Shawn Murphy of Woodinville won the 800 meters and his teammate Brandon Roche finished second. Ryan Bottjer of Inglemoor placed 6th in javelin. Woodinville and Inglemoor are tied for second in Kingco conference standings with a 7-1 record.
   At the girls track invitational at Lake Washington, Inglemoor placed 4th in 4x200 relay.
   In baseball, the Woodinville Falcons slipped in their longshot playoff drive after losing to Eastlake, 8-7. Earlier in the week, they beat first and second place Lake Washington and Juanita and were only separated from the lead teams by a game and a half. Inglemoor is now tied with Eastlake for second place. Inglemoor's fastpitch team, with leading Kingco pitcher K. C. Crowder, is now 15-1 in Kingco standings.
   In soccer standings, Woodinville is 6-3, Inglemoor 6-4, and Bothell 4-5.
   Tennis standings are Bothell 6-3, Inglemoor 5-4, and Woodinville 0-6.
