   Nurse's aide assistant is needed for a substitute position at Woodinville Adult Day Center. Call 788-5223.

   Enjoy a hearty breakfast of ham or sausage, eggs and pancakes on May 17 from 8-11:30 a.m. Cost is $2.50.

   Share information and ideas on collecting salts, toothpick holders, and China plates on May 15 from 10 a.m.-noon.

   Join in lively talk about the current Book Group selection, The Last of the Breed, on May 16 from 10-11:30 a.m.

   Stroke survivors share experiences, information, and friendship on May 19 from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

   Attend a support group for people with Meniere's disease on May 21 from 7-8:30 p.m.

   Enjoy ballroom dancing every Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. Cost is $2 per person.

   Fox trot, waltz, swing, and cha-cha lessons for the beginner, as well as experienced dancers, every Wednesday from 3-4 p.m. Cost $18/members, $23 non-members for 4 weeks.

   Free legal assistance for low-income seniors May 16, 12-2 p.m. Call for an appointment.

   Free skin cancer screenings will be conducted by a dermatologist on May 20 from 12:45-2 p.m. Advance sign-up is required.

   Meet with other grandparents who are responsible for raising a grandchild on May 14 from 10 a.m.-noon.

   A program for individuals experiencing mild memory loss or in the early stage of Alzheimer's Disease are invited to join a club on Friday mornings from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. $20 per day; call 727-6214.

   A certified adult day health program which provides care for adults with cognitive and/or physical disabilities is available at the Northshore Adult Day Center. Call Jane Sepede at 488-4821.

   Seniors needing help with substance abuse have a program available to them, the Senior Alcohol Assistance Services (SAAS). Potential participants call Shari Hightower at 258-2662, 1-800-440-4686, or Barbara Berry at 487-2441.

   Volunteers are needed to make weekly visits to homebound and isolate seniors. To volunteer, call 486-4564 or 727-6214.

   Join an informal group for reading and writing poetry on Fridays from 1:30-3 p.m.

   Senior Checkup, Thursdays, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Physical exam by a geriatric nurse-practitioner, including simple blood and stool tests, pap smear or prostate exams, followed with appropriate referrals. Call 486-4564 for appointment.

   Alcoholics Anonymous, Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. AA meeting for those who think they may have a problem with drinking.
