Teen Northshore Auto Show

Auto Show Teens will showcase their cars and compete for cash prizes this Saturday, May 17, at the 3rd Annual Teen Northshore Auto Show. The competition, new cars, race cars, antique cars, electric cars, off-road vehicles, specialty vehicles, new auto repair technology, a cheerleaders car wash, swap meet, exhibits on how to take care of your car, a free car maintenance check, and more are part of the show which will be held in the Pop Keeney parking lot of the Northshore School District Headquarters in Bothell, 18315 Bothell Way NE, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (In case of rain: Bus Barn adjacent to parking lot).
   The "Jaws of Life" and injury treatment procedures will be demonstrated in a Collision Rescue Demonstration at 1 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Bothell Fire District, Woodinville Fire & Life Safety, Medic One, Bothell Police, and King County Police.
   KLSY morning radio personality Tim Hunter will present the awards at 1:30 p.m. The categories of competition are:   Teens who reside in the Lake Washington or Northshore School District boundaries can still register their cars at the offices of the Woodinville Weekly, 13342 NE 175th, Woodinville, and the Bothell Parks and Recreation office at 18305 101st Ave. NE, Bothell; or by leaving a message at Teen Northshore's Hot Line, 344-6417.
