Woodinville man charged in steroid sale

steroid sale The King County Prosecutor's Office has charged 22-year-old Trevor Crandall of Woodinville with the selling of steroids. According to charging papers, the defendant sold the drugs to a confidential informant over a two-month period.

Riverside senior housing appealed

senior housing Hearing Examiner John Galt heard arguments from two groups appealing a SEPA application and conditional use permit for a proposed 50-unit senior housing center in Bothell near the corner of 102nd Avenue NE and West Riverside Drive.

Lightning stops water service

lightning strike A lightning strike knocked out water service to 160 residences near 75th Avenue SE in south Snohomish County on May 3. An underground pipe north of West Bostian Road suffered damage after a bolt from an early morning storm "caused trauma" to the pipe.

Obituary: William Raymon 'Ray' Hoaglan

obituary A memorial service was held May 9 for William Hoaglan, who died May 5 in Kirkland. Mr. Hoaglan was born April 9, 1909 in Ames, Nebraska, and had been a Cottage Lake resident for 50 years.
