Turn off the violence on May 17th

Media Awareness The Northshore PTA Council has declared May to be Media Awareness Month, with each week dedicated to a specific focus.

GTE awards $12,000 to Skyview

GTE grant A team of math and science teachers at Skyview Junior High were awarded $12,000 from GTE last week. Teachers Lynn Morelli and Christy Hjort received grants which are part of the GTE Corporation's Growth Initiatives for Teachers (GIFT) program.

School and work at their best for high schools

Career Fair Eighty speakers representing their chosen careers will speak to Northshore high school students on Friday, May 16th, at the Career Fair hosted by Bothell High School.

Student serves as ambassador

Student Ambassador Maggie Nelson, a 6th grade student at Cottage Lake Elementary School, was recently selected as a Student Ambassador in the People to People Student Ambassador Program.

Canyon Park scores at Olympiad

Science Olympiad Canyon Park Junior High School competed with 33 other schools at Eastern Washington University at the state final for the Science Olympiad on April 12, finishing 7th overall.
