Northshore changes end of year early dismissal times

   The early dismissal days in June for junior and senior high school students in Northshore have been changed in order to adjust for days the schools missed due to snow closures. The June 13 early dismissal for elementary only remains as originally planned. Junior high students will be dismissed early June 17 instead of the previously announced June 13 date. Senior high students will be dismissed early on June 18 and19 instead of June 16 and 17. June 20 will be the last day of school with two hours of classes planned at all levels.

Shelton View excels in math

   Thirteen students from Shelton View Elementary participated in a statewide Math Olympiad May 3. Out of 68 fifth grade teams, one of Shelton View's teams took second place in the best overall score. The team members were Bo Wang, Jonathon Dethloff, Angelo Altavas, and Ken Anderson. One of the sixth grade treams took second best out of 69 competing teams. The team members were William Chen, Andy Zhang, and Chris Denton. The school was represented by Anna Lee, Felicia Lew, Sofia Salazar-Rubio, Katie Estes, Laura del Valle, William Chen, Chris Denton, Andy Zhang, Bo Wang, Ken Anderson, Angelo Altavas, and Jonathan Dethloff.
