May 12: A dispute arose in the Wellswood Apartments in the 18100 block of 142nd Avenue NE over a large pit bull dog urinating in a resident's flower bed. A pushing and shoving match developed. A 35-year-old woman was cited for investigation of 4th degree assault after punching a 37-year-old woman in the left shoulder, leaving a two-inch bruise. An incident report was sent to King County Housing.
May 13: A 43-year-old Bothell man driving a 1987 Ford pickup while under the influence was taken into custody after colliding head-on with a 1997 Ford truck. The man left the scene, parked, and attempted to flee. He was tackled by witnesses and then arrested on warrants. When police searched his vehicle, they found a spoon containing black tar residue and used syringes. Samples have been sent to a state lab.
May 15: Obscene phone calls made from a Laurel Springs, New Jersey pay phone were recorded on the answering machine of a Woodinville woman in the Edgewood Apartments.
May 16: A cell phone was confiscated from a 13-year-old student at a junior high in the 19300 block of 168th Avenue NE. The boy said he'd gotten it from his parents. His parents said he'd purchased it for $5 from another person.
May 16-17: A gray 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser was stolen from the 13000 block of NE 188th Place. A cell phone was stolen from a nearby 1991 Ford pickup, as well.
May 17: Gardening tools, including a chainsaw, hedger, rake, pruners, clippers, and shears, were stolen from a 1988 Ford F-350 pickup parked at a residence in the 18500 block of 133rd Place NE. Screwdrivers, wrenches, and an asthma inhaler were stolen from inside the vehicle. Prints were lifted.
May 20: Police are looking for a man described as approximately 23 years old, with curly medium length brown hair, weighing 150 lbs., and wearing a black nylon jogging suit. He was seen getting out of a stolen 1978 blue Toyota pickup in the 18700 block of 165th Place NE. The truck was stolen in Everett.
