Lambert, Backlund town hall meetings focus on 1997 session
State Reps. Kathy Lambert, R-Redmond, and Bill Backlund, R-Redmond, announced they will be holding two town hall meetings to discuss with citizens the recently completed 1997 legislative session.
The 45th District legislators will make a short presentation regarding the main issues of the session, including welfare reform, juvenile justice reform, property tax relief, state spending, and education. They will also answer questions and listen to comments from the public.

- Tuesday, May 27, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Duvall Library, 122 Main St. NW in Duvall.
- Saturday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Kirkland Library, 406 Kirkland Ave., in Kirkland.
- Saturday, May 31, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Woodinville Library, 17105 Avondale Rd. NE in Woodinville.
- Thursday, June 5, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Redmond Library, 15810 NE 85th, in Redmond.
