Shakespeare Spring Celebration captivates Woodmoor students
"Let the festivities begin!" With those words, the Shakespeare Spring Celebration at Woodmoor Elementary began, and 149 children from the PACE and TAG programs entered the school's gym in a colorful procession.
Northshore recognizes top students
On May 27, prior to its board meeting, the Northshore School Board honored 50 of its top students, mostly graduating seniors. They were chosen to participate in the ceremony for the awards, recognitions, and scholarships they had received.
Musicians bring home top awards
The Woodinville High School Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Orchestra, and Jazz Ensemble traveled to Anaheim, California for the annual Heritage International Music Festival May 8-12, winning many of the top awards.
Northshore begins job shadowing for teachers
All of the districts involved are regional partners in the SchoolWork Initiative, formed last May by education, business, labor, government, and community groups to link teachers, students, and businesses to interactive programs.
Northshore wins grants for academic enrichment
The Northshore Public Education Foundation (NPEF), a non-profit organization formed to enhance learning opportunities in local classrooms, has named the winners of 14 academic grants for Northshore schools. Total grant funding will total more than $10,000.
