   Join the "Hikers" and venture out into the wilderness on Mondays in June. Call the Senior Center for information.

   The Mill Creek Senior Center will be putting a Computer Learning Center in around Aug. 1997. For information, call 487-2441.

   Woodinville Adult Day Center: call 788-5223.

   Enjoy ballroom dancing every Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. Cost is $2 per person.

   Enjoy a hearty breakfast of sausage, eggs, and pancakes on June 7 from 8-11:30 a.m. Cost $2.50.

   Attend an introductory series to Driftwood Sculpture, Fridays from June 6-27 from 10 a.m.-noon. Cost is $8 per member, $13 for non-members.

   Learn to fox-trot and waltz in three lessons on Thursdays beginning June 5 to June 26 from 1-2 p.m. Cost is $20 to members, $25 to non-members.

   Join an exercise physiologist from the Cardiac Health Center for a free presentation about exercising on June 10 from 12:45-2 p.m.

   Learn how to reduce falls and related injuries among seniors on June 4 from 10-11 a.m.

   View a video presentation and join a discussion about housing alternatives and support services available when caring for aging parents on June 10 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

   Free legal assistance for low-income seniors is available on June 6 from 12-2 p.m.

   Caregivers and individuals with Parkinson's disease are invited for discussions and guest speakers on June 10 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.

   An opportunity to share experiences, information, resources, and support for individuals with low or impared vision is on June 6 from 1-2:30 p.m.

   A certified adult day health program which provides care for adults with cognitive and/or physical disabilities is available at the Northshore Adult Day Center. Call Jane Sepede at 488-4821.

   Seniors needing help with substance abuse have a program available to them, the Senior Alcohol Assistance Services (SAAS). Potential participants call Shari Hightower at 258-2662, 1-800-440-4686, or Barbara Berry at 487-2441.

   Volunteers are needed to make weekly visits to homebound and isolate seniors. To volunteer, call 486-4564 or 727-6214.
   Join an informal group for reading and writing poetry on Fridays from 1:30-3 p.m.

   Senior Checkup, Thursdays, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Physical exam by a geriatric nurse-practitioner, including simple blood and stool tests, pap smear or prostate exams, followed with appropriate referrals. Call 486-4564 for appointment.

   Alcoholics Anonymous, Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. AA meeting for those who think they may have a problem with drinking.
