Columbia Winery launches Water, Wings & Wine Tour
Columbia Winery, Kenmore Air, Argosy Cruises, and Gray Line of Seattle have jointly created a new Water, Wings & Wine Tour, a unique and memorable way for visiting or local groups to experience the Puget Sound area. Groups can cruise/tour/taste/fly in a day-long loop that showcases the best of the Northwest.
The tour will operate Monday-Friday through September 30. Groups depart Chandler's Cove on south Lake Union at 10:30 a.m. for a trip through the Hiram Chittenden Locks aboard an Argosy ship; a box lunch is included. They arrive at Pier 57 on Seattle's waterfront and board a Gray Line motorcoach for the scenic drive across a floating bridge to Columbia Winery where they enjoy a tour and premium wine tasting. Then they continue by motorcoach to Kenmore Air for a floatplane flight back to Lake Union, arriving by 4:30 p.m.
"It's a good way to see the Puget Sound area and get a taste of the Northwest in a day. All the elements of water, land, and air are combined with a stop at Columbia Winery in the middle," said Ken Grant, Columbia Winery Marketing Manager.
The Water, Wings & Wine Tour is priced at $95 per person, including tax. Minimum group size is 15 people, maximum is 40. Transportation to and from downtown Seattle hotels on Gray Line is included. For more information, call (206) 789-6498.
