Falcon Ridge hearing reset
Open public hearings on the Falcon Ridge preliminary plat have been rescheduled for July 1 at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall. City staff will answer planning commission questions, and the public will be allowed to voice their concerns.
Falcon Ridge is a 15-unit detached single family housing and commercial development proposed on 4.65 acres between NE 182nd Place and NE 181st Street near Victorian Village. Residents of nearby Pioneer Hills have expressed concern over potential air current changes the clearing of Falcon Ridge would bring to their hill top community.
Copies of the proposal are at the Dawson Building in Bothell. Call 486-8152 with questions. Questions or concerns on the proposal could be submitted in writing for the public hearing.
King County Superior Court sentenced Brian Charles Watts to 27 years in prison for two rapes committed in the Duvall area last year. Watts pled guilty to taping a 40-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl, and also pled no contest to a charge of second-degree attempted murder on April 21. He was sentenced for the crimes on June 13.
