   July 1: Bellydancing class for ages 16+, Tuesdays through Aug. 19, 6:30-7:30 p.m. $36, North Kirkland Community Center, 12421 103rd Ave NE. Call 425-828-1217.
   July 2: Chess enthusiasts can drop in and play a pick-up game. Woodinville Library, 17015 Avondale Rd. NE. Call 788-0733.
   July 6: Juanita Bay wildlife tour. The free interpretive tour begins at 1 p.m. No registration is needed. Remember to bring your binoculars.
   July 7: Youth tennis at Marymoor Park. Beginning and intermediate instruction for boys and girls 13-16 years. Participants must provide their own racquet and an unopened can of balls. Tennis shoes are required. Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m.-noon through July 30th. $36. Call 296-2964.
   Teen expedition camp: A trek through forests, summit mountain peaks, alpine lakes, and waterfalls. Includes rock climbing. No experience necessary. Kirkland Boys & Girls Club, 10805 124th Ave. NE. Runs through July 18th; 9 a.m.-4 p.m., early drop-off 7 a.m., late pick-up 6 p.m. $250 plus membership. For ages 12-15. For more information, call 425-827-0132.

Other stuff:
   The City of Woodinville is looking for volunteers for the 3rd annual 4th of July Fireworks display. They need parking assistants, crowd control, meeters/greeters, clean-up crew, and many others. Free meals provided for those who work past midnight and free event t-shirts. 481-8300.
   Mirror, a teen newspaper, is looking for representatives for the 1997-98 publishing year. The representatives help promote readership among fellow students, assist with the distribution of the paper, and participate in engaging discussions of current issues facing teens. Reps will be paid a monthly stipend. Call 343-8749.
