   See the Caribbean Islands without traveling, July 10, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

   An opportunity to meet with a representative from Congressman Rick White's office and express opinions is offered on July 11 from noon to 1 p.m.

   Learn Tai Chi, a Chinese system of exercise, on Mondays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Cost $2.50/member, $5/non-member per class.

   An opportunity for reading and writing poetry, group discussions, and critiques is offerend on Fridays from 1:30-3 p.m.

   Attend the Theater and Me acting class on Mondays from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Cost is $15 member/$20 non-member.

   Discover the fun of fly fishing on July 8 and July 12 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Cost is $50, sponsored by Shoreline Community College. Call 546-4562.

   Enjoy ballroom dancing every Wed. from 1-3 p.m. Cost is $2 per person.

   Employment opportunity to supplement income for handyman, caregiver, yardwork, housekeeping, plus miscellaneous jobs through the Senior Center. Call 425-486-4564.

   A program for individuals experiencing mild memory loss or in the early stage of Alzheimer's Disease are invited to join a club on Fri. mornings from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. $20 per day, call 727-6214.

   A certified adult day health program which provides care for adults with cognitive and/or physical disabilities is available at the Northshore Adult Day Center. Call Jane Sepede at 488-4821.

   Seniors needing help with substance abuse may call Senior Alcohol Assistance Services (SAAS). 258-2662, 1-800-440-4686 or 487-2441.

   Volunteers are needed to make weekly visits to homebound and isolated seniors. To volunteer, call 486-4564 or 727-6214.

   Join an informal group for reading and writing poetry on Fri. from 1:30-3 p.m.

   Senior Checkup, Thursdays, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Physical exam by a geriatric nurse-practitioner, including simple blood and stool tests, pap smear or prostate exams, followed with appropriate referrals. Call 486-4564 for appointment.

   Alcoholics Anonymous, Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. AA meeting for those who think they may have a problem with drinking.
