Music featured at Carnation's 4th of July celebration
Music Memories is a Vegas act featuring impersonators of such legends as Buddy Holly (Kenny James), Elvis (Tracy Alan Moore), Roy Orbison (Partrick Martin), and Marilyn Monroe (Cybele). They will perform on the 4th at 7 p.m. at the Tolt Middle School football field.

Terri Parente, 1981 graduate of Tolt High School, plays the keyboards, as well as the saxophone and flute, with this group. Terri lived with her parents, Bonnie & Daryl Willis, on a ranch south of Carnation. She was a member of the Tolt Band and Cheerleading Squad. She is now a choir teacher in Portland's Centennial School District.
The Dambreakers to perform
The Dambreakers, performing both Friday and Saturday night at Pete's Club as a fund raiser for the Eastman Rush Pool, are a group of teachers and employees of the Riverview School District. Playing classic rock, they perform throughout the Seattle area. They will donate one of their two performances.
Branded Lonesome plays on July 4
Branded Lonesome will perform on July 4 at 7 p.m. at the carnival site. The band features Scott Stecker, lead vocals and rhythm guitar; Robert Allen Low, bass guitar and vocals; Buck Hammock, lead guitar and vocals; and Jim Stahl, drums and vocals.
Luxury in concert on July 5
Luxury, pictured above, will perform on July 5 from 7-11 p.m. at the carnival site. The members are, from left to right, Jeff Whitney, John Wheatley, Dave Doling, and Chris Sikora.
Scottish Pipe Band
The Washington Scottish Pipe Band will perform at noon after participating in the Grand Parade on July 4. With Royal Stewart Tartan kilts and some bagpipes dating back to the 1800s, the band will play medleys.
