The City Council officially appointed John Janson and Terry DePolo to the Planning Commission at their June 23 meeting. The two will join the commission at its July 2 meeting.
Janson has served on the Washington State Boundary Review Board and as a commissioner for King County Water District 107. He has been married for the past 40 years and has one daughter. DePolo is a financial accountant with Boeing. He is 35 years old and is married with three children.
Janson and DePolo replace outgoing commissioners Cliff Williams and Nathalie McRoberts. The council also extended the terms of Planning Commissioners Gina Leonard and Len McNally for one year to prevent a majority of the commission from retiring.
