Hospitals in western Washington need approximately 700 quarts of blood a day. Here are upcoming blood drives in the Bothell, Monroe, Redmond and Woodinville areas.
Water District requires back flow prevention
Following state law, the Woodinville Water District is requiring its customers with irrigation equipment or heating boilers to install back flow prevention devices. The equipment prevents chemicals, yard waste and other health hazards from entering drinking water supplies.
Council candidate orientation
The City of Woodinville is offering an orientation for anyone interested in seeking a city office. The orientation will be held at City Hall.
Appeals filed for 300-foot tower
Appeals have been filed by concerned residents against the decision to build an 800 megahertz communication tower at Ring Hill. Property values and preservation of a neighborhood environment are among the residents' concerns.
Downtown Woodinville construction on schedule
The Woodinville TRF project is well underway and on schedule. Expect lane closures in the next few months as construction workers begin further stages.
