JULY 14, 1997
The new TRF 43.44 acre, $50 million development under construction in downtown Woodinville is on schedule with the completion of the major tenant ground sites, installation of underground utilities underway and the retaining walls completed for the 14 foot cut necessary to even out the site. The triangular property is bordered by NE 175th, 140th NE and the Woodinville-Snohomish Road. Two new roads running through the property, NE 178th Pl. which will connect NE 177th Pl. with 140th NE, and 138th Pl. NE, which will connect NE 175th with 140th NE, are laid out and the manhole covers are being installed.
From July 17 to August 16, a portion of the Woodinville-Snohomish Road will be closed, except for local access, due to construction of a new intersection, storm, sewer, curbs, gutters and sidewalks and an upgrade to the existing Woodinville Water District water line. There will also be construction on NE 175th with one lane diversion for a manhole installation and demolition of existing sidewalks, curb and gutters along the south side of the site (from Taco Time to Burger King but not Firestone and Schucks).
Leasing of the 440,000 sq. ft. of commercial space is continuing. TRF announced that Barnes and Noble has signed a letter of intent for a 23,000 sq. ft. facility on the property. Other retailers to open in Woodinville are Target, Top Food & Drug, Cineplex Odeon Theatre, Red Robin, Bernie's Bagels, Bella Cleaners, Cucina! Presto!, GNC, Great Clips, Hollywood Video, Starbucks Coffee and Todo Wraps.
