House entered: A babysitter attending a child in an upstairs bedroom of a house on the 15700 block of N.E. 193 Street July 17 observed a suspect fleeing from the house. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years old, of medium build with dark brown hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt and light blue jeans. Nothing was taken.
Jewels stolen: The window of a vehicle parked at a gas station on the 13000 block of N.E. 175th Street July 17 was smashed and a briefcase containing approximately $30,000 in jewelry was taken. According to the police report, the victim had had her jewels appraised at a downtown shop that day. When she returned to her car parked in a garage she was blocked in by a van. The van was removed by a Hispanic male with a high voice. The victim returned to Woodinville and believes she was followed by a white car.
Witnesses describe the two men who broke her window as Hispanic males between 20 and 30 years old. One was 5'10", the other 6'. The suspects reportedly drove off in a 1997 white Toyota Camry.
Herbs impounded: A marijuana plant was discovered in shrubbery behind an apartment complex in the 14300 block of N.E. Woodinville-Duvall Road. The plant was sent to Precinct 2 for disposal.
Deposit diverted: An employee failed to make a deposit of $3,459.61 for the days sales of a fast-food establishment on the 17400 block of N.E. 140th Street March 27.
