Bothell pioneer Anna Thomas celebrates 100 years of living
Anna Thomas of Canterbury Square celebrated her 100th birthday last Wednesday with friends and family at the Canterbury Square clubhouse. Thomas has 121 direct descendants and has lived in Bothell for nearly all of the 88 years since she arrived from Sweden. As a Bothell pioneer, she remembers traveling by boat down the Sammamish Slough to shop in Seattle. Members of the Canterbury Square association gave Thomas one hundred red and yellow roses, 50 for friendship and 50 for affection.
