DFW last on list
Re the letter about the young cougar being sighted in a homeowner's yard. You recommended that such sightings be reported to the Department of Fish and Wildlife. I was curious if the DFW would send out one of the "contractor" animal control specialists to "tranquilize" the unfortunate trespasser and "release it into a wilder environment." This is what they claimed to have done to the last five cougars they darted in Spokane in recent months. Problem was, it seems they overdosed everyone of them and they all died.
Thanks but DFW will be last on my list of aid calls. The Humane Society perhaps, or PAWS, the Army maybe but not the DFW. They've demonstrated their professionalsim thank you.
