More than 800 movie-goers gathered at the Redhook Bowl last Monday night to see "Copland," a new movie starring Sylvester Stallone, Harvey Keitel, Robert DeNiro and Ray Liotta.
Put on by Polo Jeans, the free movie attracted action fans from as far away as Seattle, Renton, Mill Creek and Mercer Island.
"It's nice out. Why not see Harvey Keitel?" reasoned Joann, a clerk at Scarecrow Video in the University District.
Shooting stars overhead matched blazing lead on the giant outdoor screen. "Copland "was the third of four movies shown at dusk the past few Monday nights. Previously seen were "Going all the Way" and "The Full Monty." The final film will be "The Myth of Fingerprinting" to be shown Aug. 18 at dusk, usually around 9 p.m.
