Northshore selects new leader for Sorenson Early Childhood Center

   (Bothell, WA., August 7,1997) Peter Schott, Assistant Director of Special Programs in the Puyallup School District as Assistant Director of Special Education for Early Childhood. His primary responsibility will be to serve as the lead administrator for Northshore's Sorenson School which serves special needs children, ages three to six, and youngsters in Head Start. He will also supervise other District early childhood programs currently being developed.
  
   Schott has 17 years of special eduation experience, both as a teacher and an administrator. For the last 11 years, he has served on the Washington State Special Education Coalition. He earned his Masters in Education degree in Special Education from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

His depth and knowledge in special education and his statewide involvement in efforts to improve services to special needs children will be a tremendous asset to the Northshore district," commented Fred Row, Director of Special Education.
