   WOODINVILLE--Guitar picked: A full-time employee of a software company in the 16200 block of Woodinville-Redmond Road allowed a temporary worker to borrow his guitar. When the man asked for the instrument back, the temp said it had been stolen.
  
   Attempted burglary: The door of a cabinet maker in the 18700 block of 140th Avenue N.E. was pried and business entered Aug. 17 though nothing was taken.
  
   Phone threats: A 35-year-old Renton man threatened his sister's 35-year-old Woodinville boyfriend over the phone Aug. 17. Officers told the suspect that making threats was against the law. The suspect said he wasn't planning on contacting the couple again.
  
   Woman arrested: A 29-year-old Woodinville woman was arrested on outstanding warrants Aug. 18.
  
   Fireworks seized: Police arrested a pair of 11-year-olds Aug. 17 on possession of M-150s and "Bloomer" fireworks. The Bomb Unit secured the devices and is holding them as evidence.
  
   Trespassers caught: Police are recommending nine local teenager boys be charged with trespassing after they allegedly entered a vacant store in the 14200 block of N.E. Woodinville-Duvall Rd. The suspects sprayed fire extinguishers inside the building and were later picked up by police around town. A BB gun resembling a semi-automatic pistol was confiscated from one boy as well.
