Prep Praise

  Marci Martin of Bothell was a winner of the A.G. 'Tony' Marino Scholarship for the 1997-98 academic year.
   Brian Ravenel, a home school student from Woodinville, was selected as one of 38 national winners in Delta's Pupil's Choice Essay Competition. His parents, Connie and Joe Ravenel, were also honored as sponsoring educators.
   Jamie Bukowski, the granddaughter of Edna and Walt Hogg of Woodinville has been named an All-American Scholar by the US Achievement Academy. She is a student at Stanwood High School and the daughter of Julie and Steve Chappell and Craig Bukowski.
   Brian Hashiguchi, a senior at Bothell High School, was selected to attend the National Young Leaders' Conference in Washington, D.C. The 350 students selected nationwide were chosen for their leadership potential and scholastic merit.
   Brenda Fasoli and John Myrick were awarded the Woodinville Garden Club's Fern Rains Stratton Memorial Scholarship for 1997.
