   You are invited to an open house breakfast to celebrate National Adult Day Care Week and the third anniversary of the Woodinville Adult Day Care Center on Sept. 17 at 8 a.m. at 18350 NE Woodinville-Duvall Place. RSVP by Sept. 10 at 788-5223.
  
   Come to a free demonstration to learn about a paper filigree craft dating back to the 15th century and see samples on Sept. 15 from 10-11:30 a.m.
  
   Enjoy a journey through six countries in Africa without having to make any big travel plans, on Sept. 11 from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
  
   The Computer Learning Center at the Northshore Senior Center is a place where seniors can learn the basics of computers inexpensively and at their own pace. Volunteers are needed to teach word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and modems 1/2 day per week. Call 488-2060 for information.

   Attend a support group for people with Meniere's disease and other balance problems on Sept. 17 from 7-8:30 p.m.
   An opportunity to learn how to move through the grief process and grow with the support of others is offered on Sept. 17 from 10-11:30 a.m.
  
   Join a support group for tips and suggestions, discussions, presentations and good friendly support and encouragement for anyone facing the challenges of weight loss on Sept. 16 from 1-2 p.m.
  
   Participate in a landmark study to establish standards for evaluating comprehensive physical status of older adults. Volunteers will have a one time physical assessment and questionnaire on Sept. 12 at 1 p.m.
  
   Learn about operas and opera singing, including diction, pronunciation and voice quality on Tues. Sept. 9-30 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Cost is $10/members, $15 non-members.
  
   Attend a free introduction to Mandarin Chinese from the point of view of a long-time non-Chinese student on Thurs. Sept. 4-Oct. 30 from 11 a.m.-noon.
  
   Attend an introduction to Driftwood Sculpture techniques on Mondays Sept. 8-22 from 1-3 p.m. Cost is $12 member/$17 nonmember.
  
   Enjoy a fantastic evening of dining and casino style games on Sept. 26 from 5-9:30 p.m. Halibut dinner at 5:30, 6:30, or 7:30 p.m. Play craps, roulette, blackjack with your fake "bankroll". Tickets are $25.
  
   A program for individuals experiencing mild memory loss or in the early stage of Alzheimer's Disease are invited to join a club on Fri. mornings from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. $20 per day, call 727-6214.

   Senior Checkup, Thursdays, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Physical exam by a geriatric nurse-practitioner, including simple blood and stool tests, pap smear or prostate exams, followed with appropriate referrals. Call 486-4564 for appointment.
  
   Alcoholics Anonymous, Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. AA meeting for those who think they may have a problem with drinking.
