WOODINVILLE--Road work closed 148th Avenue N.E. for 24 hours last week as King County crews installed a new concrete box culvert on Trib 90 as it passes under the street. Beginning today, 148th will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays until October 17. 148th connects the Hollywood School area with Woodinville via 140th Avenue N.E.
The work will realign Trib 90 and expand its streambed.
When finished, city officials hope the work will "minimize extended road closures that have in the past been caused by flooding."
An alternate route around construction is Woodinville-Redmond Rd. on the west side of the Sammamish Valley.
