Celebrate the foods of fall with Woodinville Farmers Market
NW News Staff
Woodinville Farmers Market will mark the beginning of fall on Saturday, Sept. 29th with free, local corn on the cob, a western style barbecue and a chance to use the apple press. The Market chefs will be cooking Washington grown corn on the cob and succulent barbecue ribs (there will be a small cost for the ribs.) The barbecue will run throughout lunchtime.
The Market will also be featuring its annual apple press. The public is invited to bring their fall apples, or purchase them at the market, to press into fresh apple cider. Please bring clean containers to hold your cider.
Lastly, the Washington Soccer Club will be holding a sixteen family garage sale at the market. The sale will last from 9-4 and all proceeds benefit their organization.
Woodinville Farmers Market is open every Saturday, 9-4 through the end of October. It is located in downtown Woodinville at City Hall on 175th Street. The market features only fresh, local produce and quality, handmade crafts. Questions regarding the market should be directed to Woodinville Farmers Market Manager, Grant Davidson at (425) 485-1042.
