A blown fuse on a traffic light at SR 522 and Paradise Lake Road caused major backups early Monday morning. Snohomish County PUD was called at 8:50 a.m. by the State Patrol and dispatch crews went to the scene.
"People need to tell us when the power goes out," said Andy Munpz, Snohomish County PUD spokesperson. Traffic was backed up to Monroe from Paradise Lake Road making the commute more than one hour late
Additional backups affected Maltby Road and other streets. Drivers were also backed up with the construction detour on the Woodinville-Duvall Road early Monday morning.
