Missing Woodinville woman surfaces in Reno
by Andrew Walgamott
WOODINVILLEÑA 50-year-old Woodinville woman reported missing early Saturday morning has turned up in Reno, Nevada, King County Police spokesperson Joanne Elledge said Monday morning. Carol Denise Cameron was found checked in at the Reno Western Motel 6 after she called her husband Ken at 8:15 a.m. Monday morning. Cameron drove to Reno of her own free will over the weekend, Elledge said.
"We're very happy she was found alive and well," Elledge said. Cameron was reported missing at 1:30 a.m. Saturday by her husband. She was last seen at approximately 5:30 p.m. Friday afternoon at the Woodinville Texaco at N.E. 175th St. and 131st Ave. N.E. where she charged gas on a credit card.
Cameron, a mother of two, is a bookkeeper for a Bellevue-based Internet provider. Police interviewed family and friends over the weekend. Before she was found, Elledge characterized Cameron as "a very regimented woman...not a person who liked to go out or would disappear."
