Woodinville celebrates Pioneer Days

Go back in time and celebrate Woodinville's history Oct. 11 from 6 to 10 p.m. at City Hall. Sponsored by the Department of Parks & Recreation, the event will feature covered wagon rides leaving every 30 minutes from the Woodinville Park and Ride lot; photographs and artifacts from the Historical Society on view in the City Council chambers (behind City Hall); a pumpkin carving contest (Bring your own pumpkin and tools); crafters demonstrating tin punching, butter churning, soap making and more; a country dance from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Sorenson gym; pony rides for the kids with the $2 cost going to Wilmot Gateway Park.
