City calls for Parks Commissioner
WOODINVILLE--Interested in kids and parks? Want to help plan the future of parks and recreation in Woodinville? The City Council may want to put you to work. One position on the Parks and Recreation commission will become available Jan. 5, 1998 when Randy Ransom (parks vice-chair) is sworn onto the council. The new appointee will join the seven-member board which provides recommendations to the council on acquisition, improvement and best use of open space, city parks, playgrounds, recreation programs and facilities. The board meets Thursdays at 7 p.m. Interested persons are asked to apply before Jan. 2, 1998. Forms are available at City Hall, 13203 N.E. 175th St. or call 489-2700.
