Miller says he wants to be mayor again

WOODINVILLE--Mayor Bob Miller said last week that he wants to be Woodinville's mayor for another two year term. Miller has been the city's mayor since January, 1996. "I don't feel I've accomplished everything I've set out for," Miller said, adding that the 1998-1999 term would be his final. After that, he said it would be time for a "fresh face" in the mayor's chair. The City Council elects a mayor from among themselves at the first meeting in January following council elections. New councilmembers Randy Ransom and Carol Bogue will also be sworn in at that meeting.
