Woodinville Light Festival debuts
The Woodinville Light Festival will feature giant animated light displays shining from 6 to 10 p.m. Dec. 19 through the 24 at the Sorenson ballfields, located behind Woodinville City Hall, 13203 NE 175th St. The tree lighting ceremony is set for Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. A horse-drawn holiday wagon will run through Dec. 23 from 6 to 10 p.m. leaving from the Woodinville Park & Ride (140th Ave. NE and NE 179th) and the Wilmot Gateway Park (NE 171st @ NE 175th St.) stopping at locations along its route. Cost is $1 per person/$3 per family of 4 or more. Proceeds benefit Wilmot Gateway Park. Other activities featured from Dec. 19 -21 from 6 to 9 p.m. include the Holiday Cafe & Gift Shop, the Hot Air Balloon Glow by Captain Hook's Vagabond Balloons (weather permitting,) Santa's Photo Booth, Santa's Workshop and the Elf Art Stop.
