The Woodinville Ridge Riders 4H Club performed their holiday community service project by raising $880 and a pickup truck full of pet food for Hooterville Safehaus over the Thanksgiving weekend at the QFC and Safeway stores in Woodinville. The club's goal is $1000 by Jan. 1,1998.
The Woodinville Ridge Riders would like to thank the community for their support of Hooterville, and QFC and Safeway for allowing the 4H members to utilize their stores as donation sites. The fund-raiser for Hooterville will continue through the month of December. Donation sites are DeYoungs Feed in Woodinville, and Bothell Feed in Bothell.
Hooterville Safehaus has placed over 4,500 homeless dogs and cats in safe and loving homes since opening their doors in 1990, and is in desperate need at this time. Hooterville has been able to save these forgotten four legged friends through the kindness and generosity of the community, and in order to continue placing these unwanted animals, they are asking for our help.
