   Northshore athletes took top honors for their performances during the 1997 volleyball and golf seasons. The first 4A Kingco Conference All-Opponent First Team in volleyball has Stephanie Speed, Jesse Woods, Jennae Krell of Bothell High School; Gretchen Olson, Kim Formo of Inglemoor High; Sara Warner, Michelle MacCarthy and Jenny Chong of Woodinville. Second Team honors went to Ann Miller of Woodinville; Tracy Inman and Heidi Lambley of Bothell; Kelly Morrell and Kelly Hamernick of Inglemoor. Honorable Mention went to Christy Shelly of Woodinville; Jenae Bestrop, Melissa Ewing, Christy Bellin and Jackie McDaniel of Bothell; Alicia Porterfield,Kristin Martin, Jenny Bereihiser, Emily Jennings and Ashli Lovitt of Inglemoor.
  
   Four Northshore golfers made the All-Opponent boys golf team: Aaron Stewart and Kevin Thompson of Woodinville; Pete White and Dave Martin of Inglemoor. Woodinville golf coach Mike Stewart and Falcon swim coach Dwight Anderson were named 4A Conference Coaches of the Year. The Falcon swim team finished 4th in state competition.
  
   The opening of girls gymnastics last week found the Inglemoor gymnastics team victorious over Newport , last year's state champion. Top Viking returner Autumn Cagle won the bars with 8.8 and top newcomer Courtney Amonsen won the all-around with 35.1. The final team score was IHS 169 and Newport 168-15.
   The Bothell High gymnastics team won their meet with Mercer Island and Juanita,133.0,118.45,111.45. Top Cougar newcomer Leah Marab took first place in bars, vault, balance beam and floor exercise.
