An activity that always seemed to keep us busy on Christmas was calving. There always seemed to be at least one animal that decided to have a calf on the holiday.

I wish more taxpayers would attend meetings and read the budget. They would be in shock at how our taxes are spent wastefully at times even at the Fire District level.
