Northshore School Board elects new officers
B-Z Davis, who has been on the school board since 1991, was elected president of the Northshore School Board replacing Kirby Larson. After graduating from Bothell High in 1974, B-Z attended Green River Community College and Western Washington University. Davis works as a pharmacy assistant and store buyer for Ostrom Drugs.
In addition to serving as school board president for 1998, B-Z will continue as a member of the state School Director's Legislative Committee. During 1997, Davis served as the school board's vice president.
Jean Fowler was elected vice-present of the school board. Jean has been a member of the board since 1989 and served as president from 1992-1995. She has been actively involved with the school district since the early 80's, having served as an officer on several PTAs. She is currently a member of the Washington State School Directors Diversity-Multicultural Advocacy Team. In 1996, Ms. Fowler won the Washington State Public Relations Association Crystal Apple Award.
