Duvall Days set for mid-May


Duvall Days Country Living Festival is scheduled for May 16 and 17. Those wishing to get either booth or parade information should contact the chamber office at 788-8384 or stop by Valley Mailbox, Duvall City Hall, Seafirst Bank or Valley Community Bank for applications. This year's Saturday event includes: Kids' and Grand Parades, with Grand Marshals Bill and Judy Chapman; day-long entertainment; Craft and Street Fair with more than 100 craft, information and food booths; 5K Fun Run; Frog Jump competition and Cow Pie Bingo. Other activities include the Duvall Fire Dept. Dist. 45 Fireman's Muster and Antique Fire Truck Show, pony rides, Teen Mission Cake Walk, the Cedarcrest High School Band, aerobics demonstration by Margie Coy from Fit Happens! Fitness Studio, plus the Fit Happens! Aerobathon which benefits the Duvall Emergency Fund and Mini-Hydro Boat races and much more. Saturday will be topped off at dusk with a fireworks display at Cherry Valley Elementary School.
  
   Sunday's activities include the 38th Annual Duvall Firefighters' Pancake Breakfast, the Cow Pie Bingo Finals and the Arts and Crafts Fair in the Coast to Coast parking lot.
  
   Volunteers are needed for the 5K Fun Run on Saturday morning, to help with the parade and entertainment. Duvall Days organizers are looking for local entertainers who will volunteer their services to help their community. Anyone wishing to help should contact the chamber office at 788-8384.
